Every doctor who performs procedures at Templestowe Day Surgery is credentialed by our Medical Advisory Committee. You’ll see your doctor for a consultation in their own rooms before any procedure here.
Dr Mark Attalla
Specialist registration: General practice · AHPRA MED0001170831
A cosmetic medical practitioner and the founder of Chelsea Cosmetic Surgery, in the same building on James Street. At our centre he performs liposuction (including for lipoedema), eyelid surgery and gynaecomastia surgery under local or tumescent anaesthesia.

A general practitioner who trained in medicine in Vietnam and at the University of Tasmania. He consults at his own practice in Mulgrave.

Credentialing
How doctors are credentialed
Before anyone operates at our centre, our Medical Advisory Committee reviews their qualifications, registration, training, professional indemnity insurance and continuing professional development, and approves a defined scope of practice.
Credentialing is reviewed at least every three years, and doctors may only perform procedures within the scope they’ve been approved for.
